On 17 of September with the occasion of the „hram” day of the village Baraboi, from Donduseni district it was opened the new sculpture „Rastignirea”, consecrated by bishop of Edinets, Nicodim. On the same day in the houses of the village inhabitants the water started to flow through the new water pipelines built with the financial support of „Südzucker Moldova” company and of agricultural enterprise „Agro Baraboeni”.

On Tuesday, 27 of September, “Sudzucker Moldova” company organized the traditional press tour during what the journalists from the main Moldavian mass-media had the opportunity to receive information from first sources about the ways the beet harvest is going and the sugar is produced. There was present also Vasile Bumacov, the minister of Agriculture and Food Industry on the field of growing the sugar beet belonging to agricultural enterprise „Mihaileni Agro” and at the sugar factory from Drochia.

Südzucker Moldova, the biggest company in the country that produces sugar, organized a festive exhibition “The Field Day 2011” on Saturday, 10th of July. Partners of the event, in the number of more than 15, presented the newest agricultural technical equipment: sowing machines, grain combine harvesters, tractors and deep tillers as well as seeds, fertilizers and chemical substances for plant protection.
