Südzucker Moldova, the biggest company in the country that produces sugar, organized a festive exhibition “The Field Day 2011” on Saturday, 10th of July near the village Climauti in Dondusheni region. This event was organized together with suppliers of agricultural technical equipment, chemicals and insurance services for company’s partner enterprises. “The Field Day” is held by Südzucker Moldova for the third time. It has already become a traditional corporate holiday, as it is customary in the system of enterprises of the concern Südzucker AG in the countries of European Union.
Besides 700 of farmers and members of their families who were invited to the event, the honourable guests of “The Field Day 2011” were Vasile Bumacov, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova, Dumitru Godoroja, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry of Moldova and heads of regions. Also the event attended Dr. Georg Vierling, the Director of the Department of technology and empirical cultivation of Südzucker.
“This year Südzucker Moldova turned 10 years. We are happy that during this period there was built a circle of loyal partners around the company”, said Alexander Koss, Speaker of the Board of Südzucker Moldova, in his welcoming speech. “Throughout these years together with our partners we raised twice yield of sugar beet. We all made big investments in this branch and we could lose a lot. We are gratified by your success and are ready to support you in your hour of need.
