On 17 of September with the occasion of the „hram” day of the village Baraboi, from Donduseni district it was opened the new sculpture „Rastignirea”, consecrated by bishop of Edinets, Nicodim. On the same day in the houses of the village inhabitants the water started to flow through the new water pipelines built with the financial support of „Südzucker Moldova” company and of agricultural enterprise „Agro Baraboeni”.

The old water pipeline of the village was not functioning more than several decades. But with the common support of the local agricultural farm and of the sugar producer, villagers from Baraboi managed to restore the pipeline. Even better, additional effort was provided in order to build a new, supplementary tube for water on more than 5 km distance reaching a further region of the village.

According to the speaker of the board of „Südzucker Moldova”, Alexandr Koss, the company is productively collaborating with the agricultural enterprise „Agro Baraboeni” already many years. The latter one is one of the most efficient sugar beet producers for the raw sugar for sugar factory from Drochia belonging to the company. This agricultural farm represents a good example of a harmonious combination of advanced agricultural technologies, actively promoted in Moldova by the German concern of producing sugar and obvious social perspective of the agribusiness, direction which Constantin Cojocari, the director of the great agricultural enterprise follows many years already. “In this sense, the company “Südzucker Moldova” considered as own duty to provide a considerable effort to the improvement of the rural life conditions” - underlined Alexandr Koss.
